How we are paid

On receiving an enquiry we invite a prospective client to a preliminary meeting at a convenient location either at our office, home or place of work. The purpose of the meeting is firstly to establish whether we are able to assist with the prospective client's needs and objectives and secondly to discuss how we would be paid for our services should we be instructed to proceed. There is generally no charge for this preliminary meeting. The initial meeting will ordinarily be free of charge but there are instances when we will charge for our time and this will be disclosed to you before the meeting.

After the initial consultation, we will agree with you a fee structure, which will be based on a percentage of the pensions and investments we mangage on your behalf for initial and ongoing advice and services, a fixed rate fee for a specific task or an hourly rate fee for a specific task, or a combination of the above.

During the initial meeting we will agree a fee structure with you that suits your circumstances. If we are investing money on your behalf we will usually charge a fee based on a percentage of the initial investment and this will not exceed 3%. This fee will pay for the cost of any reports, initial advice, implementation, risk assessment, portfolio construction, service provider and associated research. We will also agree at outset the ongoing advice, and investment fee for our services in line with the following charges and the number of reviews we will produce each year:
