We’re delighted to share that MPA’s long-standing PR consultant, Chris Mitchell, who runs RedTree PR, has once again gone the extra mile for a cause incredibly close to his heart.

Following on from his London Landmarks Half Marathon earlier this year, Chris has now completed the Robin Hood Half Marathon in Nottingham. Not only did he achieve a new personal best, but he has so far raised nearly £1,200 for Footprints Conductive Education Centre.

Footprints is a Nottingham-based charity that supports children with Down Syndrome and other disabilities that cause mobility and communication difficulties. Earlier this year, the charity moved into a brand-new centre and continues to raise funds to help turn it into an inspiring and supportive environment for the children and families they work with.

Chris’s motivation for running is deeply personal. His youngest son, Alfie, who has Down Syndrome, has been attending Footprints for several years. Over the past 18 months, Alfie has also been bravely battling leukaemia. Now in remission, Alfie is back at Footprints, and the charity’s team has been a pillar of strength and support throughout his journey.

We’re incredibly proud of Chris’s achievement. If you would like to sponsor Chris or find out more about his fundraising please visit his Just Giving Page.
