Last month the MPA Charitable Foundation were approached by Sue Sargent from Claverdon Playground seeking sponsorship from local companies to help buy equipment for the refurbishment of the existing playground.  The playground has been enjoyed by local children, grandchildren and visiting friends and families for many years.  Unfortunately, in recent years a number of unsafe items have had to be removed and the remaining items are very worn and also in need of repair.

The new playground scheduled to be built this Spring will have a capacity for 20 children ranging in age from 2 – 15 years and 15 new pieces of equipment will be added. Claverdon is very much at the heart of MPA as  it was where our Company was founded, therefore, we were delighted to assist.  It was a big yes from everyone on the committee of the foundation to donate a one off payment of £1,000 towards the purchase of the ‘Talking Tubes’ which enable children to talk to each other from one end of the playground to the other providing them with hours of imaginative play.

We look forward to attending the opening of this fantastic new playground and hope the summer months bring plenty of sunshine for everyone to enjoy.
