The MPA Charitable Foundation were contacted by Chloe Bass, Trust Manager, for the Warwickshire and Northamptonshire Air Ambulance in December to ask if we could assist in any way in the life-saving work that they undertake.

On reading the information provided, we were shocked to learn that the charity receive no government support and rely on the support of Grants from Trustees and Foundation to fund their life saving transfer service.

For nearly 15 years the Air Ambulance has been helping people across the counties of Warwickshire and Northamptonshire, saving thousands of lives and keeping many families together.  They attend various accidents including; road traffic accidents which require advanced care on the scene, horse riding accidents, accidents in remote locations that land ambulances would have difficulty reaching, and medical emergencies such as cardiac arrests.

Based at Coventry Airport, Warwickshire and Northamptonshire Air Ambulance covers an area of almost 2,000 square miles, providing a service to a population of over 2 million people and the busiest sections of the UK’s motorway network.  With each rescue mission costing £1,700 and equipment and crew training increasing costs, any support received is greatly appreciated.

On liaising with Chloe and understanding the fantastic life-saving work that they undertake, The MPA Charitable Foundation has made a one off donation to assist with funding life-saving equipment, which has been gratefully received.

The MPA Charitable Foundation would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your AMAZING work!
