The team at MPA came together recently to raise much needed money for people living with cancer by hosting a Macmillan Coffee Morning.

It was a sociable occasion, one which saw all the staff moving away from their desks to share some lovely cakes and savouries, enjoy a hot drink and to have an informal catch-up. With staff bringing beautiful home-made food items such as quiche, sausage rolls, chocolate brownies, sponge cake, cheesecakes and an array of cakes and savoury snacks, it’s no wonder the coffee morning was a hit with everyone!

Fun though it was, the coffee morning had a serious purpose. Since its launch in 1990 the Macmillan Coffee Morning has evolved into one of the world’s biggest coffee morning events, raising millions for people living with cancer. To date, it has raised over £310 million. In 2022, Macmillan achieved an incredible £12 million through coffee mornings across the country and this year they’re aiming for even more.

MPA’s coffee morning raised £163 for this very worthy cause. Many thanks to all who donated, made/bought cakes and savoury items and to everyone for coming for coffee on the day.
