Ann Baguley joined MPA Financial Management in 2016 and specialises in advising older clients, near retirement and beyond, who need advice on any area that reflects this stage in life. Clients need help with retirement planning, getting the best out of savings, passing on wealth without paying inheritance tax and eventually some will need advice on care fees.

Ann is an accredited Later Life Adviser and has been a member of SOLLA for nearly 5 years. SOLLA was established in 2008 as a not for profit organisation dedicated to higher standards and accessibility to regulated financial advice for older people and their families.  SOLLA advisers are trusted by WHICH? to advise their members and Ann is also recommended by the local Age UK. Ann has also passed the specialist STEP (Society of Trust and Estate Planners) certificate for Financial Planners, which makes her well versed in Trusts.

She is familiar with the challenge of aging that clients face, having had family members live with Dementia, which inspired her to become a Dementia Friend and to specialise in helping older clients.   Ann is experienced in helping individuals and families navigate the care system and works with specialist solicitors and care navigators to ensure that clients receive appropriate all-round advice, not limited to their financial situation.

If you would like to speak to Ann regarding Long Term Care, please do not hesitate to email her at a.baguley@www.mpafm.co.uk.
