This time last year, we were proud to announce that MPA had agreed to sponsor LCC BMX Race Team, a team of talented young local BMX riders.

Over the past 12 months, MPA and several other companies have supported the team as they compete in a range of Regional, National and European BMX racing events across the UK and Europe. From Cumbernauld in Scotland to Ravels in Belgium our team of riders have performed brilliantly. They have achieved the following in their first season as a team;

We are delighted to announce that Freddie, Teddy, Ronnie & Jack have reached the UCI (Union Cycliste Internationale) BMX Racing World Championships which will take place in Copenhagen, Denmark from 28th July 2025 to 3rd August 2025. This is an incredible achievement for the team, whose riders are aged between just 9 and 10 years old.

Oakley and Frankie are not eligible to represent Great Britian until they are age 9, however, due to his achievements, Oakley can apply for a special dispensation to allow him to race, at age 8, which is currently underway – fingers crossed! Either way, the team will be in full support for each other in Copenhagen whilst they represent LCC BMX Team and Great Britain.

We have continually been impressed by the LCC BMX Race Team’s passion for their sport, their determination and commitment to winning. Their hard work shows just what is possible in 12 months!

The team’s success is impressive but what matters to us most as MPA is the team’s set of values underpinning that success. LCC BMX have an ethos that places collaboration, shared dedication, determination, and enthusiasm at the heart of their pursuit of personal and team achievement.

Along with parental support, enthusiasm and a commitment to teamwork, we continue to believe that the team has huge potential and we are only too happy to play a small part in helping them achieve their ambitions.
