In May, Lauren Cassidy was appointed to MPA as a Client Services Associate, as part of our busy Client Services team.

Lauren joins our experienced team who provide a primary point of contact for our clients and offer fantastic support to our expanding group of Independent Financial Advisers (IFAs).

From collating information and documentation required for annual review meetings to handling client requests for fund switches, new business, transfers, withdrawals and general updates, Lauren gets involved in all areas of client activity.

Lauren explains: “It’s difficult to put into words how much we do on a daily basis – no two days are the same. I try and support people in any way I can really and am keen to be a reliable member of the team. I understand the importance of having good relationships with clients and also with my colleagues. I think that’s crucial to a successful business.

“I also firmly believe that the client experience is the most important part of what I do, which is something that is clearly embedded in the ethos of MPA too, which is why I knew it would be a great fit.

“Having worked with Katie previously, another of MPA’s Client Services Associates, who spoke very fondly about MPA’s great people and culture, I was keen to find out more. I wanted a role where I wasn’t seen as “just an administrator” and when I spoke to Annemarie, she said the exact same thing about the job being so much more than ‘admin’. It is great to be part of such a collaborative team.”

Before joining MPA, all Lauren’s roles to date have centred around finance. Most recently she worked for five years in client administration at a local financial services firm. Prior to that she was responsible for setting up and running automatic enrolment pension schemes in corporate pensions and her first job was at The Pensions Regulator call centre.

MPA’s Head of Operations, Annemarie Byrne commented: “Earlier this year, as part of our client-first approach and ongoing commitment to delivering excellent service, we updated the role of Administrator to become Client Services Associate within our Client Services team to reflect the broad roles people play within our business.

“The shift towards Client Services recognises MPA’s focus on client interaction and continued emphasis on service and satisfaction. Lauren, with her solid background in financial services support, is already proving an asset in providing excellent service to our expanding client base and it’s great to have her on board.”

Outside of work, Taylor Swift super fan Lauren keeps herself busy being a ‘cool auntie’ to nine young nieces and nephews, as well as being a ‘cat mum’ to a very dramatic and needy 5-year-old tuxedo cat called Cooper, who enjoys demanding treats at every opportunity.
