You may have noticed in the media recently that some changes are taking place within the Standard Life group as it transitions to a single global brand, abrdn – pronounced Aberdeen.

Over the next 12 months, “Standard Life” communications and its savings and investments platforms will be rebranded to become abrdn Wrap.

The changes are being rolled out from Monday 13 September and, as many of you have savings and investments with Standard Life, we wanted to let you know that you will be receiving the new look correspondence shortly.

Not everything will change at once, so you may continue to receive some Standard Life branded documents until the transition to abrdn plc is complete.

The changes you’ll experience include:

  • A warm welcome to abrdn when telephoning – calls will be answered as abrdn, sounds like “Aberdeen”
  • A new website – with a distinctive new visual identity giving it a more modern look and feel
  • Marketing emails being sent from a new email address domain:
  • A modern and fresh suite of literature with new designs and images showing the abrdn brand

As each part of abrdn plc makes its transition to abrdn you may also receive communications from other departments as they move to the new single brand.

We want to reassure you that the company which looks after your savings and investments remains the same. There is no change to your products and services as a result of the transition to abrdn and you do not need to take any action.
